  • A Level Mathematics

  • 11+ Mathematics

  • 11+ Non-Verbal Reasoning

Tuition may be provided online or face-to-face, on a one-to-one or small-group basis, subject to availability.

2. Booking tuition

Tuition sessions are arranged by agreement between Future Tuition and the parent, carer or student.

A booking is confirmed once the date and time have been agreed and, where applicable, payment or other booking requirements have been completed.

3. Fees and payment

Current tuition fees are displayed on the Fees & Tuition Options page or confirmed directly before tuition begins.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Payment is due before each lesson / monthly in advance.

  • Fees for additional services or resources will be agreed in advance.

  • Future Tuition reserves the right to review its fees, with reasonable notice provided before any new fees take effect.

4. Cancellation and rearrangement

We understand that circumstances can change.

Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or rearrange a lesson.

Where sufficient notice is provided, the lesson may be rearranged subject to availability.

Where a lesson is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, the full lesson fee may be payable, except where exceptional circumstances apply.

If Future Tuition needs to cancel a lesson, we will offer an alternative time or, where appropriate, a refund.

5. Online tuition

Online tuition requires the student to have a suitable device, internet connection and appropriate environment for learning.

Students should join lessons on time and have the equipment and materials needed for the session.

Parents/carers remain responsible for ensuring that younger students have an appropriate environment in which to participate in online tuition.

6. Face-to-face tuition

For tuition delivered at a student's home, parents/carers are responsible for providing a suitable and safe learning environment.

A parent, carer or another responsible adult should normally be present in the home during tuition involving younger students.

7. Educational outcomes

Future Tuition will provide tuition with reasonable care and skill and will tailor lessons to the student's needs and objectives.

However, tuition cannot guarantee a particular examination grade, school admission, examination result or other educational outcome.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, services supplied to consumers must be performed with reasonable care and skill, and certain statutory consumer rights cannot simply be excluded through contractual terms.

8. Learning materials

Materials provided by Future Tuition are intended for the student's personal educational use.

They must not be reproduced, sold, distributed or commercially used without permission.

9. Behaviour and respect

Future Tuition is committed to providing a respectful, supportive and professional learning environment.

Students, parents/carers and tutors are expected to communicate respectfully.

Future Tuition reserves the right to discontinue tuition where serious or repeated inappropriate behaviour makes it difficult to provide a safe and effective learning environment.

10. Safeguarding

The safety and wellbeing of students is a priority.

Future Tuition maintains safeguarding procedures appropriate to the provision of private tuition. Further information is provided in our Safeguarding Policy.

Where there is a safeguarding concern, information may be shared with an appropriate parent/carer, professional or safeguarding authority where necessary to protect a child or young person.

11. Complaints

If you have a concern about tuition, please contact Future Tuition as soon as possible so that we can investigate and respond appropriately.

12. Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove or restrict any statutory rights that you have as a client (consumer).

Where applicable, clients (consumers) entering into distance contracts may have statutory cancellation rights. The precise application of cancellation rules depends on how and when the tuition contract is formed and whether tuition begins during a cancellation period.

13. Changes to these terms

Future Tuition may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be published on this website.
